Am I correct in this reasoning: - A Bluetooth keyboard is only supported by the OS (Linux, Windows, ...). - In particular, it isn't supported by firmware (EFI these days). - So it cannot be used during boot. - So you cannot use it to talk to the firmware setup page or the boot selection process. If you need to perform these functions, and you have a Bluetooth-only keyboard, you need another keyboard. Why do I care? - HDMI KVMs are more expensive than HDMI switches - some Bluetooth keyboards can support multiple computers - you could replace a KVM with an HDMI switch and a multi-computer Bluetooth keyboard. Of course that require operating two selectors instead of one. - but this would not handle the important pre-OS requirements.
