That was it! After installing "hunspell-en-us" and "hunspell-en-ca", spell check works. I see the red wavy line. I came across "hunspell" a lot in my search, and I thought it was just Hungary dictionary, so I just skimmed over it. Well, it turns out, Yes, it started out as Hungary spell checker. LibreOffice 26.2.3 spelling check doesn't work in CachyOS, but it works in Kubuntu 26.04. I checked LibreOffice help, and all the configuration is correct. So, it must be something system.
Has anyone experienced this? How did you solved it? Do you have hunspell and hunspell-whatever for your language choice installed?
