AIUI 'speedtest' is most often optimized by the various vendors to give 'great looking numbers'. Testmy.net, imo anyway, seem to be more 'real world numbers. The graphs of the test I find very very revealing - - - - after a while one gets a really good idea of the connection possibilities.
