William, My thinking is that people are intimidated by computers. If they see how easy it is to install Ubuntu, and get a working office, browser and email, they will consider installing their own OS. It's your computer. You ought to be in control of it. This point is a discussion in itself! I have a soup cookbook here with a lovely quote...
