We gain strength from diversity, and actively seek participation from those who enhance it. This code of conduct exists to ensure that diverse groups collaborate to mutual advantage and enjoyment. We will challenge prejudice that could jeopardize the participation of any person in the community. The Code of Conduct governs how we behave in public or in private whenever the Linux community will be judged by our actions. We expect it to be honored by everyone who represents the community officially or informally, claims affiliation, or participates directly. It applies to activities online or offline. We invite anybody to participate. Our community is open. Please read more about the GTALUG Code of Conduct here: <http://gtalug.org/about/code-of-conduct/>. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the GTALUG Code of Conduct please contact the GTALUG Board @ <board@gtalug.org>. --- GTALUG Announce mailing list announce@gtalug.org http://gtalug.org/mailman/listinfo/announce

| From: Myles Braithwaite <me@mylesbraithwaite.com> | ## Schedule | | * 6:00 pm - Please discuss on the general mailing list (i.e. | <talk@gtalug.org>) where you want to go for dinner. Let's get on this. I hope that this is early enough that we can have a useful discussion. If you want to do research (please!) start here and add what you learn: <http://wiki.gtalug.org/pre-meeting_dinner> I'm going to suggest Roti Roll Caribbean Cuisine but I don't even know if it has reasonable seating. <http://www.yelp.ca/biz/roti-roll-caribbean-cuisine-toronto> We seem to need a backup since our act of selecting a restaurant has been known to kill it. Backup suggestion: Kaiju (Japanese Curry) <http://www.yelp.ca/biz/kaiju-toronto> Surely one of the food court places will survive.

[I logically organized the quoting.] If you look carefully, under the big red BUFFET PALACE sign there is a little green CARIBBEAN CUISINE sign. I phoned. The guy said that they were in the Buffet Palace and that they have room for 8 or 10 folks (my query -- I didn't ask what the actual limit is). So I think it should work. But I would commend anyone who does actual on-the-ground research.

It doesn't help with the seating, but if you want an accurate address for a food establishment in Toronto, DineSafe is the place to look: http://www.toronto.ca/health/dinesafe/ It confirms the name and address as follows: ROTI ROLL CARIBBEAN CUISINE BY BUFFET PALACE 361 YONGE ST, M5B 1S1 Sounds like a good choice! cheers, Stewart
