Thanks for the link. I use GNOME, not KDE, and I don't see the problems he's experiencing. I've not done any fresh installs of Fedora 44, only updates. I've not used the updated computers much. So my observations are not well-grounded. I've never noticed zRAM being a problem. I'm not sure that I would notice if it were a problem. When I'm installing Fedora from a "live" USB, and I want to do a lot of partition changes for the install, I install gparted(8) on the live system and use it before running the installer. (If you move or resize an NTFS partition, I recommend that you immediately boot into Windows and ask it to check the filesystem.) I infer that Fedora is frozen for a few weeks before a release. If you wait a week or so after a release, you'll find quite a few package updates.
