
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Chris Browne passed away on Monday. Chris held many roles on the GTALUG board over the years, and his contributions to the group - both social and technical - are beyond measure. Visitation is at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa on Wednesday, November 11 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at The Metropolitan Bible Church, 2176 Prince of Wales Drive on Thursday, November 12 at 11:00am On behalf of GTALUG, condolences go to Chris's family. Thanks, Stewart, for informing us. I miss him already. He and I usually took the subway to GTALUG meetings and back. And often talked on the subway platform long into the night. His last posting to this list was on the Saturday before his death.
