Slackware comes with "MPlayer" as default for video player. It's still available on CachyOS, but it doesn't show up on menu. Command only. I'm thinking, it may not be "modern" way. So, I tried - mplayer - mpv - haruna - vlc on CachyOS, and they all play the same. Which one do you use? Or, end up choosing? --William

I used gnome-mplayer. It is the GUI for mplayer. I'm not sure if it is still available in current distros. There is also VLC and SMPlayer. I have also used them at times. -- Cheers!
