Anything technology / computers. Often time great discussions come from tangents to, and digressions from, the topic at hand.
Would a brief presentation on how to connect a linux to a windows pc over your home network meet the requirements ? or maybe this was given already.
It sure would. If it has been discussed before, it's due a revisit. Interested in doing that this week? Can do screen sharing if remote.

Hi Alan & list. My apologies, I just checked to see the format yesterday & neglected to send a note. I'd be happy to do a lightning talk on the state of Linux in Networking (Open Source & Vendors). Warm regards, -- Mark Prosser // E: mark@zealnetworks.ca // W: https://zealnetworks.ca

I could have given a 5 minute presentation on just about anything, but I went to https://hub.gtalug.org/call/7m45sf9i and got asked to log in. I got the impression I need an account, and I already have waaaaaay too many accounts, and don't have time to learn the ins and outs of yet another "platform", and whether my ALSA-only, no Pulseaudio setup will work with the platform. I do presentations in Jitsi all the time, but all Jitsi involves is going to https://meet.jit.si/whatever . No friction. SteveT Steve Litt http://444domains.com

There is a 5 minute topic. I ran across devuan that is supposed to be systemd free. I'd be interest in hearing a talk on an ALSA only setup and the why and how of having such a setup. -- Cheers!
