users love the convenience of simply allowing anything on any old random website of executing on their devices :) i think eventually this will cause the end of third party cookies (which many verification services also use, by default, on commercial transactions) - as there are not that many complaints and social engineering, spear, etc is much easier I doubt if this will even happen in the next few years...
