Speaking of Pi, happy Pi day to everyone. If you know someone in the U.S. the Micro Center stores are selling single units of Pi Zero W for $3.14. -- Cheers! You know, I completely forgot that I gave that talk …
Speaking of Pi, happy Pi day to everyone.
And there's a new Raspberry Pi: the 3B+ — * same SoC, just upped to 1.4 GHz. No extra memory (the SoC can't take it) * SoC has better thermal encapsulation * 5 GHz wifi * better, faster wired network (nominally gigabit, but still through the same USB controller) * PoE support, including a PoE power management hat with fan. (Raspberry Pi data centres are apparently A Thing, so I guess this is why this happened) Same price and footprint and before. The new PoE header may interfere with some cases, though. Stewart

Thanks for mentioning that, Stewart. It is Pi day. The new Pi devices are always(?) released on Pi day. -- Cheers!
