Toronto Public Library is running a Hackathon to encourage the use of our open data: http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/hackathon/ It seems that the list of what data sets are available hasn't been finalized, but from what I've seen so far it's a surprisingly large and interesting collection (to my tastes, anyway). Unfortunately I'll be out of town that weekend so I'm unable to attend, but I'd love it if some of you could go create interesting things with our data! Visit the link above to learn more and to register, and feel free to share this with anyone you think would be interested. -- Giles http://www.gilesorr.com/ gilesorr@gmail.com
