CentOS and Linux Mint switched to MariaDB several years ago. I suspect this has already happened in other distros. I have not noticed any problems with the switch. -- Cheers! Well mariadb exists because Oracle bought mysql. It didn't need to exist before they bought it. It's been 12 years, I don't think they have any basis to sue anyone, probably much to their annoyance. -- Len Sorensen
