Which server??? When I ran my own IMAP server, I used fetchmail to download & delete the messages from my ISP's server.?? Of course, leaving the messages on the IMAP server means they'll always be there for when you get another device, use webmail from another computer, etc..
Some accounts are with Rogers/Yahoo others are on my web server. -- Stephen
