… and for those of us in the cheap / indoor / techno fuddy-duddy corner, there is the amazingly cheap GE-branded wired headset that has given me 4+ years of stellar service and great results. Used it on conference calls, podcasts and narrations. Connects to everything that still has a socket to connect to: TRRS, separate mic/headphone, even the weird micro-plug used by cordless phones. The best bit: $10 from Factory Direct. The important thing about any headset mic is to get it very close to, but just below, your lower lip. That way you get all the speech sounds, but none of the pops and clicks. Stewart
