In the last decade, I think that the only good prices from Factory Direct have been pricing errors. (I bought a tablet PC from them a couple of months ago that I think that they mispriced chain-wide.)

I bought a refurb HP 64 bit system a couple of years ago for about $100, IIRC. However, I agree, they're not what they used to be.
