They all recognize the hardwares, and install goes okay. But, at the end, they all fail on "loading grub bootloader" part.
That is rather odd that all of them fail on the install of grub. grub1 was a lot easier to deal with than 2. One thing you could try is to boot a live CD then use the repair boot loader feature. -- Cheers!
