Huh. I thought you had to use the PARTUUID for the root= section. At least, that's the distinct impression the Arch Linux Wiki wants to give you. Otherwise things look very similar to what I tried, except that I had added an initrd=\amd-ucode entry before the regular initrd entry, and no cryptroot stuff.
