I want something better.  Something pros use, but at the low end.

Take a look at a product called ezrj45.
Its a connector and crimp tool combo where you can push the wires through the rj45 connector and then the crimp tool cuts them off flush with the end of the connector.
Some guys I know who do cabling for a business claim its a great product.
