Right now, I'm using KGet (download manager in KDE) with queue of 1. But, if there is Firefox add-on, then it's one less window.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/ has a config option to set the number of concurrent downloads. -- Len Sorensen
