I installed batcat a while ago, but don't use it much.

alias bat=batcat

And using cat to send a single file to a pipe may earn you an UUCA (https://porkmail.org/era/unix/award)

I use cat to send the output of a file to another program via a pipe. If
I just want to quickly read something I use less.
