I have used runeaudio on rasberry pi. It has a nice web interface and is reasonably easy to use. But it is a bit quirky and I have found it to crash from time to time. I was looking at trying to get something like multicast running where any player could multicast what its playing and the other players could subscribe. On 01/13/2016 10:22 AM, Stephen wrote:
I currently use Mediatomb as a server and have Panasonic UPnP players. They are mainly Bluray players but do more, including play .flac files.
But they each connect separately and play their own streams independently.
What I would like to do is have each unit play the same music stream. It would be like having multiple radios in my home set to the same station.
Is there a Linux solution for this?
Cheers
