Very interesting. I have Teksavvy ADSL on Bell copper at another site. I have a static IP address and run my mail server on it at the moment. I used to have a similar setup at home, with Vybe Networks, but Bell recently accidentally broke it and refuses to repair it (my phone-on-copper line went too but a few weeks earlier). Long, stupid, painful story. Will Teksavvy do static IPs on Bell fibre? It's news to me that Teksavvy would route a subnet. I have globally assigned /24 that Vybe advertised and routed for me. Teksavvy would not do that when I talked to them about 5 or so years ago. Maybe Teksavvy will only route a subnet that they suballocate and rent to you. /24 is the smallest subnet that can be globally routed.
