I did not use this keyboard for a desktop. I used it for a computerplugged into the TV set and stereo system in my living room.
That's a whole 'nother realm of keyboards.
King of this hill is the Logitech Media K400 Plus. I have one, it's nice but very role-specific. It may not have been released at the time you bought yours (TigerDirect stores haven't been around for more than a decade).
