The 169.254.0.0 range is not supposed to be routed. Why are you forwarding to your router? Why are you even using it? Can that tuner not obtain an address via DHCP? That 169.254.0.0 network is intended for peer to peer use, when DHCP fails.
I second that. Link local addresses are not to be routed, and any sane tool will prevent you from doing so. ifconfig is NOT a sane tool these days. Fix the network config so the HDHomeRun gets a real address. -- Len Sorensen
