I hope this isn't stating the obvious, but doing a YouTube search on "MFP M177 repair" provides dozens of responses. I can't pick one out because I don't know what part, but maybe one of them can suggest a path. Of *course*, I can't ask H-P: their website and telephone service doesn't cover private laserjets, just people with a service-contract number (:-))
