Maybe someone could burn it for this person and hand it to them at the next meeting?
There must be reason for the question. But, it's cheaper and faster to just burn it yourself. I doubt there is any local place, because it's obsolete by the time you stock it.
Official Ubuntu DVDs are another matter. :-) -- William

Hello.
I am newly interested in Linux and it's variations, and am looking to purchase a distro on DVD.....trouble is, it seems that I cannot find any vendors locally, in Toronto that has them available...and my "google-fu" is usually pretty good...it was while searching that I found your User Group.
I can find sellers in the US, but would prefer to do this local...and "The Linux Store" seems to be off line...Linux Cafe is no more.
Could you point me in the right direction as to where I could get hold of linxu distros in Toronto on CD/DVD at reasonable cost?
In particular, I am looking to get hold of Knoppix Live DVD v7.4.2, as that seems most suitable for me based on my reading.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated...hope I am not imposing on you by this request.
