I even point them to Google's | DNS server, instead of mine. Good point. It turns out that I could give guests the password for the Bell GigaHub WiFi. That's isolated from my LAN. In fact, I think that the GigaHub has a separate password for guests. More to your point, it may be convenient for your router to have more than two ethernet ports. Giles' box only has two, yours and mine have four. (Giles's box sure is cute.) Common wisdom has it that USB ethernet dongles are not always stable 24/7.
