As you can see by other replies, there are plenty of choices. I'm very happy with rebel.ca formerly known as DomainsAtCost, based in Ottawa. And of course there's one of the OG registrars, operating worldwide from their HQ in Liberty Village, Tucows. I assume, since buying Canadian is important, you're getting a .ca domain?
