Having said that... I have been having problems with some websites under current Firefox (specifically iDrive and bestbuy.ca) that aren't replicated on other browsers ... even the Firefox derivative Zen.

FWIW ... I was one of the cowards who jumped to Gmail at the first opportunity, after decades of nightmares with POP, IMAP, MBOX-vs-Maildir and all the technical spaghetti to do with email. My transition from Elm to Mutt was unpleasant, and going from that to Thunderbird was so poor that I bailed on local MUAs as soon as the option became available. I'm well aware of the tradeoffs.
