Full-sized DP ports. Yeah, there are a lot more mini-DP converters out there.
So, I guess no mention of DP++, and since there's already a DVI, no need from their point of view.
That sounds like the problem. Seems pretty dumb, unfortunate, and surprising. I can see the logic behind it, as it likely takes some extra components and anyone who wants to run 3-5 monitors on a single card can probably scrounge up DP supporting monitors.
