I have the OnePlus One for almost a year, and I am very, very pleased by it. They have general availability now, so I would recommend it. It's very powerful, and have a great price. Google recently came out with an updated Nexus 5. I have the original and I'm quite happy with it. It's unlocked, even though I bought it through Rogers.
