Hugh, The Harmon Kardan 230E receiver I bought in 1979 has a plug for the turntable. I thought that was standard for back in the day. For the record, I have my original receiver and loudspeakers, and I am on to my second turntable. I have a computer plugged into my TV, and I use the stereo as sound output for all.
