To continue the OTness, based upon what I’ve learnt from the Toronto Zoo’s daily Facebook live videos over the past few months, there could be some subtle differences in hormone levels. They use it to run tests on some of the less cooperative species, and feed the animals edible glitter so that the keepers can identify whose excrement it is.
i need to get me some of that 416 zoo fb videos! I have a followup q tho... (and i truly believe that i am not alone...) which are the cooperative species? (as opposed to the less cooperative species) - these things are always good to know(TM pending) as I always try to collect as much data as possible on avoidance of 'testing' of any kind :) and, wow, glitter... i have glitter.. (am now looking around for my cats...) just learned how to identify the dude that always misses the litter... I learn something new every day, thank you so very much for that!
