Just for curiosity, can you try "PERSONAL_EMAIL@utoronto.ca"\x5c"SHARED_MAILBOX@utoronto.ca" in you .fetchmailrc ? The manpage is not clear whether you can use \xhh in quoted string (though highly likely). -- William Park <opengeometry@yahoo.ca>
