Oh, they do. Just you have to know what format your motherboard uses. This page is a decent guide to the difference: https://www.frontx.com/pro/cpx102_2.html My CP/M box is happily talking away to my Asus right now.
I know people still using UUCP.
I still use SLIP and tcpser sometimes. I don't enjoy it, and once I have a known-working system I will preserve it because so much can go wrong. cheers, Stewart
