That was reported on the TV news a few days ago iirc, although they did say a strain "similar" to this year's the major flu was included. Yay :)

I don't believe this is a case of anyone being inept. From what I understand, figuring out which flu will be the serious one in any given year can be a matter of guess work, and as a result they can get it wrong.

I remember about 2 years ago I caught a wicked flu and it wasn't going away. When I did finally get over it, I barely got another one since.
